History
School of Champions is a private organization established in 2006 for providing children with developmentally appropriate activities to meet their social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs as well as meeting the needs of working parents and providing full care at a reasonable price.
At this time, School of Champions owns and operates one center located in Itta Bena, MS, caring for children 8 weeks to 4 years of age full time and 5-12 years old in the after-school program.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide quality care and education to children in a healthy, warm, loving environment, and to help foster the growth of early learners intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically.
Philosophy

The philosophy of School of Champions is based on meeting the developmental and emotional needs of children. Each child should be recognized as an individual and be encouraged to reach their full potential.
Our program is based on the assumption that growth is a sequential and somewhat orderly process and that children do indeed pass through stages of development that occur in predictable sequences in their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
We believe that children need to make choices for themselves. In turn, adults must design the environment carefully to allow the child freedom to move about choosing from interesting, varied, multi-sensory and stimulating activities.
